My work is more about the search. Raw readability wrought out of a struggle to create and arrest motion. Balance rhythm with emotion. Repetition, contrast, complicate, simplify. Visual realization of a language spoken during childhood – a vivid and persistent type of imagery.

I have to see tangible evidence, see more clearly the concept that will sustain itself. I have to force another reality to come out.

Textural balance, Visual balance, Spiritual balance. All must work together to form an articulation of dialogue. The Horse is a vehicle of expression that generates secondary visions, memories, and forced remembrances. They become a more cohesive physical representation of personality.
